“Shriners Hospital For Children, Houston” A Marketing Documentary

“Shriners Hospitals For Children, Houston”
A Marketing Documentary

Shriners Hospital for Children, Houston is just one of many multi-award winning short films produced by Chris Layhe and CLAi for the Shriners Hospital Group over a twelve year period.

The Shriners have an outstanding group of 22 hospitals across the USA and Canada, providing totally free care to children up to 18 years old with orthopedic, spinal cord injury, burns and cleft palette problems, as well as achieving some of the most important research results in these disciplines and more. Houston is one of these hospitals, caring for not only patients from areas in and around Texas, but also for many patients – and their families – from across Mexico and South America.

This is one of a set of three “marketing corporate documentaries” that CLAi shot while we were in Houston, others allow the children themselves to both host and tell the story of the hospital and their experiences, and there is a shorter version that is aimed at crowdfunding opportunities.

Chris Layhe wrote, produced and directed the program, and CLAi provided equipment and camera crews. Edited by Chris Layhe and Corey Sullivan, with color grading by Chris Layhe and CLAi.
